Appendix G — Contact and Practitioner Directory
Over the years, many parents and professionals have asked where they can find further support, guidance, or training related to the Goulding System. Current information on practitioner support, training, and related resources can be found via the Support Page.
The individuals listed there are not presented as endorsements or recommendations. Rather, they are practitioners who have met the current standards set by the Goulding System Organisation and have chosen to be publicly listed. Inclusion indicates that the practitioner has completed recognised training, agrees to practise within the ethical framework of the System, and maintains currency through ongoing education and review.
As with many professions today, knowledge and best practice continue to evolve. The directory therefore reflects practitioners who are current at the time of listing, rather than those trained under earlier versions of the work without ongoing update.
This emphasis on continued learning helps ensure that families and professionals who seek additional support are engaging with approaches that reflect contemporary understanding and responsible practice.
It may also help to clarify that the directory is not intended to be an exhaustive list of everyone who has ever studied, used, or spoken about this work. Some practitioners may not appear simply because they have chosen not to be listed, their details have not been submitted or updated, or they have not participated in the current training and review pathway.
The directory therefore reflects alignment with current standards at the time of listing, without making any broader statement about individuals who are not included.
Over the years, many practitioners have drawn upon the ideas and techniques associated with this work. This is not unusual for any influential approach.
Parents seeking support may find it helpful to look for practitioners who are transparent about the origins of the method they use. In established practice, this typically includes clear acknowledgement that the process they use was created by Joane Goulding.
Such transparency allows families to make informed choices, understand the lineage of the work being offered, and distinguish between foundational methods and later interpretations or adaptations. The presence—or absence—of this clarity is not a judgement, but it can be a useful indicator when navigating a diverse and largely unregulated landscape.
Families are encouraged to make their own informed decisions about whether to seek further assistance, and from whom.
The Goulding System itself is designed as a family-led approach, and many families will find that the Foundation Routine and guidance within this book are sufficient.
The directory exists simply as a point of reference for those who wish to explore further support, training, or professional conversation — nothing more, and nothing less.
